Malnutrition during pregnancy, often leading to anaemia and other health complications, continues to be a global issue that affects millions of adolescent girls and women. 𝗠𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗠𝗶𝗰𝗿𝗼𝗻𝘂𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗠𝗠𝗦) plays a pivotal role in preventing these complications, improving health outcomes and ensuring the well-being of both mothers and babies.
However, accessing these necessary vitamins and minerals is a difficult task, especially in Last Mile Communities where resources are scarce. At One to One Africa, we’re addressing this challenge through our 𝗘𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗲, which focuses on empowering these underserved communities. As part of this programme, we’re championing the provision of MMS, ensuring that mothers and babies receive the care they deserve. By aligning our work with global health trends and providing access to vital prenatal resources, we’re making strides towards a healthier future for all.
