With the aim of equipping young people with essential knowledge and skills to make informed choices regarding their health, Youth Month has been an opportunity for One to One Africa to effectively engage with young individuals and their communities as we strive to make a lasting positive impact on their lives.
In recognising that the youth of South Africa require support, guidance, and resources, we have initiated a number of comprehensive and impactful approaches designed to empower young people to take charge of their well-being.
To conclude Youth Month, One to One Africa is taking part in a panel discussion under the topic ‘Access to Health Services for Adolescent and Young People’. The panel discussion is a platform for young people to engage in meaningful conversations surrounding the various challenges faced by rural-based adolescents and young individuals in accessing proper health services.
We truly believe that by encouraging adolescents to be informed, health-wise, and take charge of their lives, we can contribute to building a healthier, more empowered youth population and a brighter future for South Africa.
